I have a very exciting opportunity with a fantastic business of mine who are looking for someone to join there team in a dynamic growing business. 

Reporting into: Head of Business Development 

Job Purpose
The Pricing & Demand Analyst supports essential processes including client tenders and RFIs through the provision of detailed pricing proposals. The individual is also responsible for the collation of timely sales forecasts, KPIs, data and other business critical tools, to facilitate improved decision-making across the company.

Key Accountabilities
1. Develop and maintain a robust pricing tool to assist with commercial contract negotiations, factoring in ex works, packaging, transport and other ancillary costs.

2. Engage with external, client-side operators in order to secure the highest quality of data possible.

3. Project manage the development and enhancement of complex tools and reporting, to facilitate accurate decision making, as determined by the Executive Leadership Team.

4. Identify product demand patterns and forecasts from a variety of sources / data available, in order to provide the most accurate client forecasts possible.

5. Conduct any analyses and produce data requested by the CEO or Head of Business Development to facilitate client tenders / responses to RFIs from new and existing clients.

6. Collate, organise and manipulate data from various sources to analyse demand and pricing decisions and their impacts. Identify any opportunities to improve gross margin.

7. Support colleagues and teams across the business (including holiday cover) with the provision of accurate and timely data, to facilitate trouble shooting/problem solving and improve company efficiency.

8. Work with the Business Development Managers to prepare and build pricing models for all sales opportunities.

Experience Required

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics or similar. Or equivalent work experience.

• Expert Excel user, with the ability to design, develop complex spreadsheets, with the ability to manipulate data from a variety of sources.

• Solid commercial experience, with an understanding of demand planning, contract processes, profitability and client arrangements.

• Ability to understand business requirements and creatively develop solutions to satisfy them.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to project manage the delivery of various projects, managing stakeholders from inside and outside the business.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all individuals across the business, external clients and manufacturing partners.
