Shift Manager required for newly built food manufacturing site in West London.

Based from a newly refurbished facility near Heathrow airport, this Shift Manager position will look after packaging and dispatch of chilled and frozen products for the retail and airline sectors. Producing a range of multi-component meals this particular site is currently running one shift from 6.30am to 2.30pm but has the capability as demand grows to work on a 24/7 basis.

This particular Shift Manager role sits in the Packing area of the business and will oversee the final assembly and palletising of the products ready for dispatch. This will include metal detection, portion control, bar-coding, sleeving, and ensuring all appropriate paperwork is complete. The team size is approximately 20.

If you are currently a supervisor in the food manufacturing sector and have experience in the packaging and distribution end of the factory, then this could be a good opportunity for you to join a business at its inception. The company has a great culture with the senior team making sure the design of the new facility has the welfare of the staff in mind.
