This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or perhaps someone with a small amount of food manufacturing experience to start an exciting career within food industry QA/technical.
The purpose of the role is to maintain and improve the company quality systems in order to ensure the production of safe, legal and compliant products.
You will complete tasks such as taking temperature checks of products, carrying out weight and quality checks, identifying improvements to current systems and procedures in reference to GMP and HACCP, managing internal and external audits, making sure customer requirements are met and actively promoting a culture of high quality and safety standards.
The Technical / Quality Administrator job would suit a food science or food technology graduate looking for their first job in food manufacturing or somebody with previous technical experience looking to progress their career. Previous technical/QA experience either within a university placement or full-time role would be beneficial, however, to succeed you will have a clear drive and passion for food safety and joining a business where you can grow your career. Qualifications such as Food Safety, Internal Auditing, HACCP and Food Hygiene are all beneficial.
The Technical / Quality Administrator job is based in the South West / South Coast UK region and is paying £18,000 - £23,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
