R&D Technician

The Company

This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established company, with an ever-expanding range of global products. They are now seeking an R&D Technician to join their growing Product Assurance team.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Product Assurance Manager your main focus will be to support the Research & Development team with the evolution of new products by performing, analysing and reporting the results of the agreed technical testing programs.

You’ll contribute to the efficiency of the team by recommending both technical solutions to deliver quality new products, as well as improvements to testing protocols and ways of working. Additionally, you will be completing robust risk assessments and ensuring these are continually up to date to provide safe products their consumers love. You’ll develop close working relationships with internal teams to support the decision making process of the Product Assurance team.

The Person

This role would suit a motivated and ambitious graduate with a proven track record of outstanding attention to detail, coupled with analytical and reporting skills. You must be happy working as part of a small team, taking responsibility for running tests independently and be able to take a flexible and enthusiastic approach to excel in this fast paced work environment.

You will also be able to utilise your interpersonal skills to form strong relationships and build networks whilst being able to proactively recommend and/or take actions to solve technical issues and improve ways of working. In addition, it is also vital that you possess and excellent level of IT literacy.
