General Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity to fill the key position of Operations Manager for a specialist food and flavour manufacturer.

Besmoke is a unique smoked ingredients and flavour company with revolutionary technology, unique products and an unrivalled market position.  We are a BRC AA accredited company supplying into the global flavour and food manufacturing industry.  We have developed a number of ground breaking technologies that create a specialist range of natural smoke, grill and flavour enhancement products. 

Due to rapid growth, an opportunity has arisen to lead the operations and influence the way this company grows with confidence, strength and focus.  We’re looking for a leader with professionalism, drive and enthusiasm to inspire the team and manage the operational processes and production growth.

You will be a problem solver, preferably with engineering knowledge. You will be organised and conscientious, have knowledge of BRC and understand the demands of a growing food manufacturing company.  Experience of delivering projects on time and within budget would provide the right candidate with the skills necessary to oversee our expansion.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working with a committed and established team, you will have day to day responsibility of ensuring the factory manufactures product efficiently, profitably and in compliance with standards.  You will have a good understanding of KPI’s and experience of managing and motivating people.
