Multi-skilled Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers in their field.

The company produces a diverse range of everyday products for foodservice, pubs, restaurants and retail customers across the nation.

Your typical day will involve responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and ensuring the general upkeep of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

*To carry out planned preventative maintenance as per schedule.
*To respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a time efficient manner.
*To identify and implement continuous improvements to factory equipment.
*To ensure all engineering works complies with health and safety legislation.
*To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce negative impact on the environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
*Fully conversant with processing and packaging equipment.
*Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
*Self-motivated, hard-working and organised.
*Good communication skills.
