A genuine opportunity for a experienced packaging procurement professional to have a direct input into the strategy of a leading fmcg business.

This is a great opportunity to join a real leader in it's field. As an experienced purchasing professional from a fmcg background this role will give you the opportunity to really have an input into the future strategy of the business.

My client are looking for an experience procurement professional to have group procurement responsibility for the complex packaging category. As a key member of the site leadership team you will own the procurement within your area maximising the benefits from the Group's scale. Managing a small team you will set the strategy, ensure robust supplier relationships are in place and look at ways to continuously improve efficiency across the business.

A proven track record in procurement within the food manufacturing sector is essential and you will have ideally developed specific expertise in the packaging area. Your influencing, negotiation and people management skills will be first class and you will have the gravitas to manage relationships at a senior level both internally and directly with the customers.
