Quality Manager

They are now seeking a proactive Quality Manager to join their dedicated team and promote excellent standards.

The Role

Reporting to the MD, you’ll work cross-functionally to lead and manage your team, ensuring they are supported and managed effectively. You’ll use your technical expertise to maintain optimum levels of quality through formulating, implementing and managing internal audit programs, systems and team KPI’s, guaranteeing compliance with legislative requirements including HACCP and BRC.

You’ll be providing direction and support to the hygiene team to ensure that the departmental structure and skills are developed in order to achieve relevant standards and conform to all customer codes of practice. You’ll also act as the main interface with major customers during site meetings and audits.

The Person

Suit an ambitious and talented Quality Manager of graduate calibre with experience of working for a fast paced, food manufacturer. You must have excellent technical knowledge and a strong understanding of quality assurance requirements including HACCP and BRC. You’ll need to have excellent attention to detail as well as first class organisation and people management skills in order to lead and motivate your team to achieve the best results.
