Senior Operations Manager | Fresh Produce | Middle East

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a very progressive and dynamic fresh produce and fresh food organisation in the Middle East. They are innovative and pioneering and are one of the key distributors of fresh fruit and vegetables in the area. They are fully integrated and using first-class technology and production and are keen to recruit a Senior Operations/ Packhouse Manager for the Company.

In this role you will be managing the operational activities of all the packhouses, managing the team and ensuring annual operational plans are implemented and outcomes achieved.

You will provide strong leadership and direction in order to carry out your strategy for the systematic functioning of the operation. This will include production, H&S as well as quality assurance and control. You'll be ultimately best postharvest handling protocols from inbound till dispatch and maintaining GMP, Global Gap and BRC.

To be the successful candidate you will already be an outstanding fresh produce operations expert, experienced in managing a large packhouse and will be very customer orientated. Ideally you will have crop growing knowledge but be extremely commercially and financially savvy.
