You are confident you can do this job. You have the creative ability and people skills to be able to manage a small NPD section of a large development team.

But you haven't been given the chance before or where you are currently.

There is likely to be a valid reason, most companies aren't set up to restrict this but ultimately it hasn't happened for you. Or it might be it has, but it wasn't well supported or hasn't happened as much as you would want.

It will see you joining a category leader in 75% of the products it supplies will strong commercial agreements in place (with further work being won) offering you stability and future career progression (they fill a large percentage of their jobs with their own employees).

But that's longer term. Crucially this role will see you come in with a NPD Manager title and managing a premium customer. Nervous about stepping up? Thats only natural for anyone apart to take on there first management role but don't worry, this business has a large NPD team that can offer advice, help & support. That also means once you have mastered this aspect, there are a number of opportunities for you to move onwards and upwards into.

You will need to understand the dynamics of chilled own label food manufacturing.
