An experienced procurement professional with strong leadership skills is required for a growing procurement function.
A leading manufacturer within its specialist sector, this business operate on a global basis supplying into leading food, beverage and and nutritional product arenas. They are a hugely innovative business ensuring its' customers stay ahead of the competition.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll design, develop and implement procurement plans in collaboration with all business functions that will drive down costs whilst enhancing the UK performance. Working in strategic partnership with the leadership team you'll implement and drive forward procurement capabilities and initiatives working closely with internal stakeholders to really understand their requirements.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of procurement experience in a high complexity area with demonstrable experience in category management and the development of strategic sourcing strategies. You'll need real gravitas and have first class negotiation and influencing skills gained through your experience of partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders.
