We are working with a leading poultry supplier to the UK's retailers who operate a very successful agricultural division which underpins the businesses success. We are working on a Relief Farm Manager position with the potential to turn into a full-time permanent role in time.

The Job:
You will gain the opportunity to join one of the largest poultry farming businesses in Britain and become part of a very high functioning team with a wide-ranging support network. In this position you will be carrying out day-to-day farm management on a variety of farms, everything from monitoring ventilation systems, heat and feed and water consumptions. This will all be inline with a well thought-out and structured guideline provided by the business.

This is a great opportunity to take a step up into management and gain a thorough understanding of how a large business operates - managing its farms to the highest standards. You will gain a great deal of experience from the area managers and surrounding farm managers and there is a potential for this role to go permanent when you have proven your skill set.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Previous experience working with the poultry sector in a hands-on role.
Ideally with a NVQ Level 3 in Poultry Production but not essential, you will be put through this if you are successful.
Ideally with experience of budget and people management.
Full drivers licence
