We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere.
As Shift Hygiene Manager, you will deliver the highest possible hygiene standards and food safety environment for the site and its customers plus be responsible for the management of the hygiene team, to ensure the daily cleaning of all areas is done in a safe and efficient manner.
You will plan and implement deep cleaning and overhead cleaning schedules, manage the hygiene stocks, manage the hygiene team ensuring correct levels of staffing and training, control COSHH management and associated training, monitor ATP, environmental and allergen swabbing results for corrective actions and improvements plus be actively involved in continuous improvement projects and promote new ideas.
We are seeking a highly organised and positive individual with a food manufacturing industry background together with team leading experience and a good understanding of hygiene procedures & processes. You will lead by example with a can-do attitude and aspire to bring the company forwards. You will have knowledge of plant cleaning processes and any associated hygiene/food safety qualifications are beneficial.
The Shift Hygiene Manager job is based in the Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying c. £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 3pm – 10pm with up to 15 Saturdays per year to meet the needs of the business.
