Leadership role with full P&L responsibility within a world class major FMCG Food and Drink Business.  A career development opportunity for an ambitious Operations / Site Manager with Director potential.

As General Manager for their flagship facility, you will be responsible for the daily manufacturing operations and performance as well as managing strategic capital projects. The brief is to lead a high performing team of Commercial, Technical, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain professionals to even greater heights through inspirational leadership, sound application of Lean principles and a strong focus on Quality and Health and Safety. This is an exciting, broad ranging and highly visible role with considerable autonomy and scope.

Applicants of graduate calibre, should possess exceptional leadership, communication, planning and people management skills.  A proven track record of performance delivery, gained within a blue chip FMCG / Food / Drink environment with experience of Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable. In addition, applicants should have a proactive approach to quality, health and safety, and promote a continuous improvement culture. 

A driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make things happen is required. Above all, you will have enthusiasm, determination and passion to apply your operations management skills within a supportive and enlightened organisation.
