Technical Manager

Hopefully you have opened up this advert as you are currently a Quality Manager or an Assistant Technical Manager looking for that step up to work as a Technical Manager. If so there are 3 questions which will determine if this is the role for you. Do you have a good understanding of BRC V7/8? Do you enjoy managing a small team? Have you got experience working with the major retailers?

You will be working as a Technical Manager for a leading food company based in Wiltshire managing 1 junior Technical person.

The company are looking to improve on their last BRC score so experience of leading BRC audits, ideally having knowledge of BRC v8 will be really important for the company.

You will be working with the major retailers including Tesco's, Waitrose and JS so previous experience of customer audits with any of the mentioned would be a real advantage.

As well as being based in the factory there will also be time spent in the office. The role will require you to prepare presentations, respond to customer complaints so good IT skills will be essential for the role.
