Specifications Technologist (Polish Speaking)
This established business supply delicious chilled & frozen products to retail and foodservice customers. They are now seeking technical professional who can join the UK team to support the delivery of exceptional quality so that they can continue to provide amazing products to their growing customer base.
In this pivotal role you’ll be working closely with manufacturing partners in Poland and be responsible for:
- Compiling, issuing and managing raw material and external customer specifications where you’ll be translating, amending and approving technical documentation for retail and foodservice customers.
- Reviewing artwork and pack copy for label sign-off procedures and making changes where necessary to ensure all elements meet the required food safety regulations.
- Assisting in the management of key supplier information, completing and submitting relevant product information packs and guaranteeing all components are completed from process flow diagrams to shelf life analysis.
- Providing support to technical teams as well as product development and commercial departments within the company, responding to queries and resolving issues to help maintain the smooth running of the business.
We are looking for a food science or technology graduate who has technical experience gained from working in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
You’ll need to have a working knowledge of retail online specification systems and nutritional calculations as well as a good understanding of the technical processes of product development. You must also be a team player who can demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and project management skills in order to achieve success in this role. Spoken and written Polish language skills is essential for this role.
