Are you an experienced Food Safety Manager looking for a new challenge?
The role is London based, but are you flexible to travel throughout the UK and occasionally internationally, typically once a month?
This is a newly created position, so a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop with the role.

Main Responsibilities:
Utilising your detailed legal and technical knowledge, you will be the subject matter expert advisor to the Team, to support the growth of this area of the business, guide and monitor their food safety and health & safety activities and influence the development of suitable and sufficient policies, procedures and process
Utilising a 3rd party provider, you will ensure shops are audited; manage all aspects of the audit delivery supplier relationship. This includes designated point of contact for day to day audit delivery management; organising on-boarding & training of new auditors.
Utilise audit findings to work on maintaining and improving Shop Standards. This includes liaison with the Audit Account Manager as necessary; review of reports; identify trends and areas for improvement and provision of quarterly Audit Performance Reports
Provide and maintain documented food safety management system based on specific country requirements. Review annually, and in between as needed, to ensure they remain current and in line with legal & Brand requirements. 

Key Skills Required:
A motivated self-starter and excellent team player 
Able to effectively manage your workload to meet the reactive needs of the business in addition to delivering proactive planned activities
A clear communicator with high standards of verbal and written communication and a recent track record of high performance and positive organisational impact
Ability to effectively liaise with 3rd parties, often outside the UK, on technical matters 
Able to research & interpret legislation and technical guidance
Using own initiative to offer innovative solutions to challenges
