Quality Auditor - Mon to Fri working 2pm - 10.30pm

First Achieve is working with a well-established Food Manufacturing Group are currently looking to add a Quality Auditior to their QA team based at their site in the East Midlands. This business is a market leader in their sector and have been supplying the UK major multiple retailers for over 30 years.

You will be expected to fulfill your role responsibilities on a daily, weekly monthly basis and they are as follows:

Daily responsibilities will include:-
Conducting GMP, including writing this up and publishing and analysing trends
The release of raw materials and stock on SAP
Attendance at the DMS, supporting production on all Technical related issues and escalating any issues
Conducting on line QA spot checks
Completing temperature checks and resolving any issues or escalating where appropriate
Sort, review and file production paperwork

Weekly responsibilities will include:-
Calibration of equipment
Completing all swabbing activities to include: allergen, micro and hygiene
Reporting on key KPIs, analysing trends and looking for ways to improve KPI results, working with Production where appropriate

Monthly responsibilities will include:-
Conducting Glass audits and putting in place corrective actions where required
Completing traceability and mass balance

You will also be required to participate in the following:-
Auditing of our standards against BRC and customer requirements
Auditing procedures, stock and GRN
Ensuring document control is in place, in line with our Quality management systems
Complaint logging, investigation and trending
Non-conformance raising and resolution, RCA, Hold, RFT, work requests.
HACCP - team participation, reviews, validation, pre requisite

Ideally you will have experience of:

Working in a food production environment as a QA
Product and process knowledge
Good analytical and reporting skills
Computer skills (MS Office/SAP)
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Awareness of GMP and customer requirements

In return our client will offer a salary of up to £22k depending on experience, shifts would be Mon- Friday 2.30pm - 11pm.
