THE SPECIFICATIONS TECHNOLOGIST
The Role will involve acting as a central point for the completion and administration of customer specification agreements.
Some key activities within the role will include:-
Completing customer specification agreements in a timely manner and ensuring that they reflect the company's ability to supply
Tracking site certification information and ensure this is current.
Assisting with customer complaint investigations, monitoring and recording complaint investigations.
Technical administration support to the technical and quality management teams
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will need to have a background in a similar Specifications Technologist role within the food industry. On top of this you will also need to have:
An HND or Degree in a science subject, preferably in Food Science/Technology, life sciences or Chemistry;
Experience in food manufacturing operations, preferably in a Quality Assurance or Technical role;
Experience of customer contact and specification agreements;
Good computer skills and ability to work with databases, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills, both verbally and written
An ability to prioritise
Excellent negotiation skills
