The role

To ensure all products received are reviewed in accordance with the testing procedures to maintain food safety, consistent quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities:               

  • Inspection of all deliveries daily to agreed sampling plan with specification targets outlined.  To report / reject products not meeting the agreed supply specification.
  • Completion of intake report to collate all product receipt information and maintain an accurate log of product status.
  • Provide product status as on hold/reject or pass
  • Completion of non-conformance documentation, where required, including photographs displaying the issue with the product are required to be taken and provided to the technical team.
  • Reporting non-conformities/rejections. 
  • Training of labelling staff to ensure correct labels are applied in the correct location and subsequent intake of these products

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • QA Experience
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Self motivated
  • Numeracy skills
  • Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Computer literate
  • Trained in manual handling
  • Basic Food Handling training to be provided in house
