The role
To ensure all products received are reviewed in accordance with the testing procedures to maintain food safety, consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Inspection of all deliveries daily to agreed sampling plan with specification targets outlined. To report / reject products not meeting the agreed supply specification.
- Completion of intake report to collate all product receipt information and maintain an accurate log of product status.
- Provide product status as on hold/reject or pass
- Completion of non-conformance documentation, where required, including photographs displaying the issue with the product are required to be taken and provided to the technical team.
- Reporting non-conformities/rejections.
- Training of labelling staff to ensure correct labels are applied in the correct location and subsequent intake of these products

Knowledge, skills and experience
- QA Experience
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self motivated
- Numeracy skills
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Computer literate
- Trained in manual handling
- Basic Food Handling training to be provided in house
