As Planning & Stock Manager, the purpose of your role is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments, according to daily and forward manufacturing schedules, ensuring accurate purchasing and stock control of raw materials, packaging and WIP products.
You will generate planning schedules using forecast information, ensure the most efficient use of labour and equipment, ensure cost and throughput parameters are met, ensure all required packaging and raw materials are available to minimise downtime, ensure stock progress and status reports are maintained and monitor and manage stock levels for all raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished products.
To be considered for the Planning & Stock Manager role, you will possess strong senior planning, supply chain, stock management, material control or similar experience from within food manufacturing, with a background working with multiple product lines. Ideally educated to a degree level in a supply chain, planning or business related discipline, the role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and strong analytical skills.
The Planning & Stock Manager job is based in the South West / South Coast UK region and is paying £40,000. The working hours are 40 hours per week.
