Reporting to the Quality Manager, as Quality Technician, you will audit, inspect and investigate routines within the factory environment, reporting any non-conformances or food safety issues.
You will conduct routine line checks, sample, check and book in WIP and finished products, complete daily temperature and humidity checks, complete non-conformances, daily reports, GMP audits, glass & plastic audits, calibration checks, barcode checks and sensory panels, assist with the goods in lab checks and deliveries, review training material and assist in the preparation before external audits.
A clear passion for food is essential! You will have previous food production quality assurance / quality control experience or we would also consider fresh food science/food technology graduates who are looking to start their career within the food manufacturing industry. You will be highly organised with good prioritisation skills, be an effective communicator plus be IT literate.
The Quality Technician job is based in the West Wales region and is paying £20,000 - £25,500. The working hours are rotating shifts of 5.45am – 2pm and 1.45pm – 10pm.
