Demand Planning Manager

Role Overview:
Reporting in to the Supply Chain Director, the Demand Planning Manager’s purpose is to support and carry out tactical and strategic planning activities, linking higher-level planning with Production Planning and Scheduling whilst supporting improvements to wider planning and forecasting activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide inputs to and execute outputs from the S&OP process
2. Improve and create new tools/methodologies for demand, capacity planning
3. Provide effective leadership and development to Production Planning Team
4. Lead and support our Continuous Improvement journey
Candidate Profile:
Graduate
End to end supply chain knowledge
Bering able to Prioritise
Experienced people manager
Resilience and Temperance
Able to address senior leadership team
Commercial awareness – understanding of Sales and Marketing functions in an global business
Conversant with statistical forecasting packages
Used to working closely with commercial & supply function and able to build solid relationships
Needs to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to validate & challenge is key
Being able to present this analysis to all levels of the Business is also critical
Attention to detail and ownership of any outputs.
SAP Experience
This candidate must have forecasting experience and understand supply and production planning.
