Role: Data Analyst
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
Location: Hampshire
We are working on behalf of a reputable food manufacturing business based in Hampshire. They are looking for a bright and proactive individual to join their team at an exciting time of growth. As a data analyst, you will have responsibility for evaluating data for the client's portfolio of products, as well as comparing trends and sales figures within major retailers. You will provide support to the commercial and finance teams, forecasting and offering high quality analysis in response to monthly and ad hoc requirements, and proactively recommend to the business how to maximise sales and profits in response to market trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyse and interpret consumer data to give insight into market and category trends.
Provide accurate sales analysis for the business.
Utilise your in-depth knowledge in data analysis.
Presenting promotional evaluation and data internally.
Data analysis and customer performance reporting for regular reporting routines.
Understand and interpret market data and shopper measures to drive insight led thinking internally.
Provide customer focused insights and recommendations regarding shopper behaviour.
Understand product performance and understand how to grow product revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in an insights analysis role useful but training will be given.
The ability to read, interpret & present data to drive actionable insights.
Strong research skills.
Excellent IT skills, attention to detail and a passion to understand what is driving the headline numbers, including knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience with Kantar, Nielsen, Dunnhumby or IRI is essential.
Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
