We both know quality is the most important part of any successful food manufacturer. (But don't tell the guys in production.)

And that's where your passion is.

Well you'll be working in part of a business that values food safety and quality just as much as you do!

I'm not going to say 'no 2 days will ever be the same,' as realistically no one's ever are! But this isn't your standard day to day firefighting in the factory kind of role. You'll be involved in the reviewing and implementation of new systems and procedures as well as playing a fundamental part in customer and other 3rd party audits and visits (and there's a lot of them!)

Your man-management skills will also be put to the test, as they're looking for someone that is big on development and that can create a buzz within the department to get them motivated and engaged from the get go!

Although I made a slight dig at the production lot at the start of this and all jokes aside, it's vital that you can come in and build those relationships across all departments. Educating on the importance of food safety and quality culture.

As the experienced QA Manager that you are, you know all about food quality and safety and everything it entails, as well as how to successfully motivate and drive your team.

Don't worry about the type of products you've worked with before as they're not fussy, however experience working in a high care environment will give you a nice little edge!
