Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

If you're a Packaging Technologist or NPD Technologist with strong experience with packaging, I need you! One of the UK's leading businesses in Food Manufacturing have created a new role at one of their sites in Leicestershire.

Working closely with the NPD Team and reporting directly to the NPD Manager, you will be the main point of contact with packaging suppliers, responsible for supplying samples, managing packaging specifications and creating mock-ups for visits.

You will also be responsible for:

• Trend work, supporting projects and be the one to present packaging ideas to the business.
• Help to prepare specifications for any new packaging processes, working closely with the Process Department.
• Overall creation of concept packaging, in line with new product concepts.
• Implement changes to existing packaging.
• Main contact for printers and packaging suppliers.
• Liaise closely with customers and ensure good quality service is provided.
• Work closely with the Purchasing Team, assisting in the sourcing of packaging.

Ideally, you will have previous experience with packaging development and be passionate about it! You will need to have strong attention to detail and have a positive, 'hands on' approach to working.
