Technical Supervisor, Pontypool, South Wales, FMCG Food Manufacturing

An established food manufacturer with a site in South Wales is looking to recruit a Technical Supervisor to provide support to the increasing demands within the business due to growth.

Reporting to the Technical Facilities Manager they are looking for an individual who has experience at a similar level, with proficient computer skills, previous certified internal auditing training and Level 2 HACCP and Food Safety Certification.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing food business and play a critical role within the development of the Technical department onsite.

The Role

The nature of the position means that a varied role is on offer that includes (but is not limited to) the conducting of GMP and fabrication audits, conducting environmental swabbing such as micro swabs and air plates and annual allergen validation and Daily assessments of Quality Control of products being produced across site.

Further duties include the support of the sites internal specification system, Quality Management System, Supplier Approval and validation of internal process paperwork.

It will also involve providing support for NPD trials including shelf life validation and the organising of third party laboratory testing.

Salary: £22,000 + Benefits
