Head Of Continuous Improvement

First Achieve are continuing to work with one of the most exciting Food Manufacturers based in North Yorkshire. Due to an internal promotion and continuing growth our client now has a requirement for a Head of Continuous Improvement to join the senior leadership team.

Our client has driven their market share in their particular sector to great heights and have no plans to slow down, through product innovation, continued annual multi-millon pound investment earmarked for the next 5 years, makes this one of the most C.I roles on todays market.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of CI will be accountable for the shaping, implementation and embedding of key strategies in line with the business objectives.

You will work with peers to formulate and shape the operations strategy and take ownership for formulation and delivery of this. Develop, lead and coach employees in CI activities across Operations & Engineering and you will ead and manage projects to deliver the operational strategy, using project management methodology and report regular project status to stakeholders.

Ideally we are looking for:

• Experience of implementing C.I tools in any FMCG environment
• Experience of managing projects
• Experience of working as a part of a team and leading teams without direct authority
• Understanding of lean manufacturing
• Understanding of project management techniques
• Strong Inter-personal and communication skills

In return our client will offer the successful candidate a salary of up to £52k, plus pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday. With our client being based in N.Yorkshire they are willing to fund a relocation within a 20 mile radius of their site. Lastly with the ambitious 5 year business plan in place the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and progress within this remarkable Food Manufacturing business
