This specialist food manufacturing business possesses an incredible amount of industry expertise and capability to handle all aspects of modern food preparation for food retailers and food caterers. You will be working at a purpose built, ultramodern manufacturing facility and will play a key part in building the company’s formidable reputation for producing an innovative product range to keep up with the ever-growing market demands.
This is a wide and varied role where you will be a key part of a busy and talented technical team.
The purpose of the Raw Materials & Specifications Technologist is to be involved with all aspects of customer specifications, including, but not limited to liaising with suppliers and internal teams to allow customers specifications and paperwork to be filled out to the best quality.
The role will cover customers specifications, BOM creation, raw material/supplier approval.
To be considered for the Technical Compliance Coordinator role, you will be a holder of a degree/HND within a food science/technology discipline and will possess strong food industry technical experience. You will have excellent working knowledge of retailer finished product specifications, have worked with Sage/SAP or similar software plus possess excellent attention to detail and communications skills. Fluency in French/German is highly desirable.
The Raw Materials & Specification Technologist job is based in the South Wales region and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
