TECHNICAL MANAGER 
 
Ensure day to day running’s of the technical department run smoothly (customer requests completed in a timely manner, certificates sent out)
Review and updating of the Quality Management System and Health and Safety aspects
Be team leader of the HACCP team 
Control of all external audits, (BRC, Organic, EHO, Trading standards and Customer audits) and maintain current BRC and Organic status
Ensure supplier approval is maintained, working with the purchasing department
Customer complaints and NCRs are investigated and closed out in a timely manner
Non-conformances are raised, communicated to senior management and closed out in a timely manner
Ensure all internal audits are carried out to schedule and reviewing and implementing annually 
Carrying out any training needs for all staff and refresher training
Ensure micro testing system is carried out and review risk assessments were necessary
Management of the pest control system 
 
Requirements 

  • HACCP Level 3 (or higher)
  • Internal Audit Level 3 (or higher)
  • Food Safety Level 3 (or higher)
  • Degree or equivalent in Food Science of science related topic
