Purpose of the role
To evaluate existing processes and to improve them in terms of increasing profitability, reducing cost and maximising yield.

Responsibilities

  • Managing EPD projects
  • Compile process validation reports
  • Arrange and supervise product trials / validations
  • Shelf life / micro testing alongside the technical team
  • Lab analysis of nutritional components
  • Liaise with other departments to organise trials
  • Work closely with suppliers of raw materials
  • Ensure a proactive approach to EPD
  • Keep up to date with food legislation
  • Put in place clear ways of working


Experience

  • Food hygiene and safety qualifications
  • Degree or HND level in food related discipline
  • 3-5 years in NPD / EPD / Process / Technical
  • Good knowledge of customers technical operating systems
  • Project and time management skills
