This is a great opportunity to ensure this manufacturing giant has a supply base they can trust. It's an essential role where you will resolve issues in daily operations, drive supplier performance management, identify and lead value initiatives and deliver on NPD and growth projects. Working with a supply base for external manufacturing you'll implement supplier performance management and operational excellence, driving Continuous Improvement in terms of supply, quality, service and efficiency. You'll lead cross-functional implementation teams to monitor progress on projects, identify risks, opportunities and escalations to ensure successful and timely delivery. Internal stakeholder management is key to this role. You will manage and develop relations with Supply, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance, as well as interacting with a European commercial shared service centre in Poland to efficiently run the end to end procurement process and optimise ways of working.
You will need a Masters degree or equivalent and relevant experience with Commercial, Supply Chain, Business Control or Project Management type roles. Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential along with the ability to prioritise what is most important and balance between short-term issue management and achievement of longer-term objectives. Knowledge and experience in core P2P functional competencies and in procurement best practice is essential.
