Plant Engineer, Food Manufacturing, North Yorkshire

Senior Plant Engineering role for an FMCG company with exciting growth plans as they continue to be a market leading success!

This innovative and ambitious client continues to strive for excellence and heavily invest in the business as they continue to grow, my client is a market leading multi-sited business with clear goals and values in place!

I am looking for a highly skilled Plant Engineer who will be tasked in owning all aspects of the engineering team's performance, assets and fully budget and strategy control.

As the Plant Engineer you will manage and develop the engineering strategy reviewing and implementing OEE and other metrics across the site! You will have a keen eye for CI and influence the team by utilising a range of engineering problem solving techniques (RCA etc) whilst creating a culture that has Continuous Improvement as a key driver.

You will have experience in SCADA management and auditing across site, contributing and leading general plant and site audits.

You will play a lead role in ensuring the engineering compliance is in accordance with site standards.

Although not managing a team of individuals as such, you will be a senior member of the team, liaising with key stakeholders. You must have the gravitas and leadership qualities to coach, train and give advice to support team members, so excellent communication skills is a must.

To be considered for this role you will have at least five years in a similar type role working in the FMCG / Food or Beverage industry and must be strongly results orientated.

This role is not for the faint-hearted but it is one that can offer great development and exciting challenges and progression in time for the ambitious individuals!
