The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will take responsibility for analysing, collating and presenting data on all costs attributed to the Supply Chain functions.

The role is based in Basingstoke.

Description

The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will take responsibility for analysing, collating and presenting data on all costs attributed to the Supply Chain functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for supply chain savings by means of supply chain modelling and network re-design
  • Drive process improvement to improve productivity, efficiency & supply chain effectiveness
  • Develop & update supply chain processes to ensure alignment with cost down initiatives
  • Define budget categories within the supply chain for both warehouse and freight and communicate deviation from budget
  • Co-ordinate supplier base to ensure robust Warehouse and Freight bill process
  • Supply Chain data analysis and business reporting


Profile

The Supply Chain Manager must have a demonstrated background in end to end Supply Chain and cost reduction projects.

This role will communicate with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels therefore an ability to influence and achieve buy in is essential.

You must have a strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel.

This role requires someone who is pro-active and analytical in their thinking.



Job Offer

£45000 - £50000 plus competitive package
