The job

As Quality Supervisor, the purpose of your role is to ensure all products dispatched meet all customer requirements of safety, quality and legality.

You will manage the positive release including checks prior to dispatch of all products, manage and train the production QA & QC teams, maintain quality standards across all products, communicate tasks and issues to the QA team, ensure all product packaging meets and/or exceeds customer and legal standards, supervise calibration of equipment, ensure customer specifications are kept up to date plus maintain high levels of health, safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

Your experience

To be considered for the Quality Supervisor role, you will have at least one year food industry QC/QA experience, ideally within fresh produce or similar temperature-controlled food product. An HND/degree in a food technology, QA or science related discipline is an advantage, and to succeed you will have a methodical work approach, have knowledge of food safety standards and be a good communicator.

The Quality Supervisor job is based in the South East region and is paying £24,000.

The working hours are 6.30pm – 6.30am, 4 days on, 4 day off.
