My client is looking to recruit a number of Interim Shift Engineers to support their manufacturing site in North Yorkshire for a six month contract ASAP

The role will report into the Engineering Supervisor and will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 7 to 7 (2 days/2 nights).

As a time served Multi-Skilled Engineer you will be responsible for communicating with the Engineering Supervisor / Manager on a daily basis to ensure planned maintenance; engineering and production priorities are considered and issues are dealt with promptly.

You will communicate as required with Engineering stores to ensure that spares are available for planned and breakdown maintenance and ensure that accurate service and maintenance records are kept up to date.

Contributing and helping implement continuous improvement in manufacturing, including quality, safety, efficiency and waste reduction is a must.

To apply you must have worked as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within an FMCG environment (ideally food)

Demonstrate adequate knowledge of; Maintenance Management Systems, Quality, H&S, Food Safety, Machine Operation, Cleaning and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Mechanical bias 70% / Electrical 30%
