About our Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of prepared fruit products, supplying into the retail sector. Due to increased demand, they are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technologist to support the Technical team on nights.

About the Job:
Your role as Quality Assurance Technologist will be working in the chilled fruit factory, auditing and completing quality checks of product as they are being packed for retail customers. You will be running taste panels and recording the findings. You will be responsible for calibrating metal detectors, check weigher, scales, probes etc.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced quality controller and you will have experience of working with fresh fruit. Previous experience of working in a high care, ready to eat environment is preferred, you will have a great eye for detail and a flexible approach to work. HACCP and Food Safety Qualification would be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must have experience of working as QC within fruit or fresh produce, you must be a self-starter, have good IT skills, and be able to work on your own initiative. The business is fast paced and you will be required to meet the needs of the business as and when required.

Salary:
Hourly paid equating to £22k - £24k doing a 4 on 3 off night shift 6pm - 6am (Wednesday - Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday).
