Our client is a branded FMCG supplier to the major multiples who are looking to strengthen their team by recruiting an exceptional category analyst to help drive their business forward.

Working with the account management team, this role will involve analysing the weekly sales and forecast budget by product line for the major multiple accounts they deal with, and spotting the opportunities by data analysis. With the vast amount of data available the successful candidate will filter this in to clear and concise reports which will allow the commercial teams to make recommendations on key product lines and categories with their major customers.

The role will involve working with the buying and category management teams of some of the UK's largest retailers in developing plans to drive sales forward for both retailer and supplier, helping them achieve exceptional category growth. Running focus groups, managing data suppliers such as TNS, Dunnhumby and AC Nielson will all be part of this role.
