I'm looking for a highly credible, commercially strong Buyer with strong experience of working within the hospitality sector. You'll be a leading player in the category team driving medium and long term category plans for the growing hospitality area. You'll be accountable for agreeing and setting budgets and promotional plans and will be targeted on delivering margins and sales growth within the hospitality area. Candidates will need to have a real passion for food and a strong track record of delivering margin,enhancing promotional activity and driving innovation with the help of new product development and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the category buying team to deliver commercial objectives
- Manage the relationship with suppliers and identify new and innovative ones
- Drive efficiency improvements within the supply base

To thrive in this role, you'll need significant experience of food buying within the hospitality sector. You'll need to demonstrate first-class negotiation skills, excellent commercial awareness and have strong analytical experience.
