Would you enjoy living in the countryside with amazing scenery and outdoor activities?

Based in West Wales this is a really good opportunity for a Production Manager to join a company that is winning awards for its products, growth and commitment to the local community. The location is tricky, based on the Welsh coast just outside of the Snowdonia National Park, but if you would enjoy living in a quieter part of the country with stunning surroundings then it could be ideal.

The site is manufacturing ambient food products for retailers and direct to consumer suppliers and is producing around 1 million units per day. They have three high-volume production lines in three manufacturing units with this role overseeing all production on the 2pm to 10pm shift. Production is Monday to Friday so you would have every weekend to yourself to enjoy the local hills and beaches. You will have a Team Leader from each production unit reporting into you and be focused on hitting production volume numbers while reducing wastage.

The product background you have is not as important as your experience in leading a team of people in food or FMCG manufacturing. You will need to motivate your team to get the best from them while working towards reducing absence, staff turnover and increasing staff engagement.
