The key responsibilities of the QMS Director are:
  • Create, implement and improve the Quality and Food Safety Management Systems for the EMEA region
  • Ensure processes and procedures are standardised and documented, implementing improvements where necessary
  • Ensure all systems satisfy customer, regulatory and internal stakeholder requirements
  • Manage the key processes related to consumer complaints and non-conformance
  • Address and correct any non-conformities
  • Develop, implement and manager KPIs for the department and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy
  • Create a training program for the ongoing development of the Quality department and QMS
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage, lead, coach, train, motivate and develop direct reports


The ideal background of the QMS Director:
  • Degree educated in a science related degree
  • Experience within the Quality function of a Food and Beverage organisation
  • Experience of implementing QMS and writing HACCP plans
  • Experience of External QMS & FSMS Auditing, preferably trained as a Lead Auditor (either on FSMS or to an ISO standard)
  • Experience of Non Conformance and Incident Management
  • Outstanding English Language skills
  • Additional language skills advantageous
  • Experience with statistical analysis and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies advantageous
