Description
The key responsibilities of the QMS Director are:
- Create, implement and improve the Quality and Food Safety Management Systems for the EMEA region
- Ensure processes and procedures are standardised and documented, implementing improvements where necessary
- Ensure all systems satisfy customer, regulatory and internal stakeholder requirements
- Manage the key processes related to consumer complaints and non-conformance
- Address and correct any non-conformities
- Develop, implement and manager KPIs for the department and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy
- Create a training program for the ongoing development of the Quality department and QMS
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage, lead, coach, train, motivate and develop direct reports
Profile
The ideal background of the QMS Director:
- Degree educated in a science related degree
- Experience within the Quality function of a Food and Beverage organisation
- Experience of implementing QMS and writing HACCP plans
- Experience of External QMS & FSMS Auditing, preferably trained as a Lead Auditor (either on FSMS or to an ISO standard)
- Experience of Non Conformance and Incident Management
- Outstanding English Language skills
- Additional language skills advantageous
- Experience with statistical analysis and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies advantageous
