We are seeking a talented and driven individual to work for this leading manufacturer. This well-established family run business prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and the highest quality products.
The business has recently undergone tremendous success and as such, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.
The ethos of the company is based around outstanding service coupled with providing customers with creative solutions and innovation and you will have a dynamic and innovative team supporting you, to ensure the continued success and growth of new accounts.
You will create and own a clear plan of activity for bringing aboard new UK accounts into the business that will drive additional growth YOY by preparing, presenting and implementing a clear strategy for key target accounts. You will work closely with the marketing and technical teams, translating customer requirements into market-leading innovative products, to satisfy customer want and engage new business.
To be considered for the Business Development Manager role, you will have experience in a commercial sales B2B role within food manufacturing, ideally selling ingredients into further manufacturing. You will have the ability to make recommendations and find solutions for customers, a good network of food industry contacts, fantastic customer service and presentation skills plus be passionate in showcasing food product innovation. A full driving licence is essential together with the ability to travel 3-4 days per week in the UK and potentially within the EU.
The Business Development Manager job is based in the South West region (you will be at Head Office once per week) with the rest of the week travelling nationwide. The role is paying up to £50,000 according to experience plus company car, bonus, laptop, mobile phone and benefits.
