The Operations Manager will be responsible for Supply Chain, Production Operations and Logistics in a fast growing business specialising in the manufacture of niche regulated product.

The business are specialists in their industry and product and value quality product and their people. They are going through significant growth.

Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating staff in the operational area of the business to achieve company goals and objectives. You will have responsibility for production and ensure the highest level of product compliance and quality to meet customer expectation. In addition you will lead a supply chain and purchasing team through a period of growth, to ensure manufacturing meet cost targets. The role will ensure OTIF and lead projects for continuous improvement. Reporting to board level you will deliver presentations on operational performance.

Profile

The ideal candidate will ideally be qualified to degree level in science or engineering / related subject. You wil have worked within a regulated environment and understand the importance of compliance with industry standards. You will be an advocate of lean and continuous improvement and ideally qualified in six sigma. You must have held an operations management role or similar and have led implementation and usage of ERP.

Job Offer

£60-£65K + car + benefits.
