They are looking for a proactive and passionate NPD technologist to help build on their inspiring portfolio in order to support business growth and retain their position in the market place.
In this dynamic and diverse creative role you’ll be responsible for the development of amazing new products across multiple categories for a prominent retail customer. You’ll support the Development Manager in the day to day running of the NPD function, organising resources to deliver projects in line with ambitious business plans and profit targets as well as the critical path. With your knowledge of emerging markets and understanding of consumer trends you’ll drive innovation and deliver compelling customer presentations to demonstrate how your products will make a real impact in the market place. You’ll also be benchmarking new and existing ranges, ensuring all quality, technical and production needs are met whilst keeping up to date with the latest movements in this fast moving industry.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Development Technologist with creative flair coupled with proven experience within the chilled sector of food manufacturing. You’ll have worked in a similar fast paced innovations role, which may have been a year’s industrial placement, where you have gained a strong understanding of NPD processes from concept to launch including technical and quality elements. A good commercial awareness and an eye for up and coming food trends is also a must have, and you’ll need great communication, organisation and presentation skills too.
