Your role as Quality Technologist is to be responsible for the effective management of raw materials and suppliers, ensuring performance is monitored, communicated and that effective improvement plans are implemented when required.
You will also ensure customer feedback data is analysed, carry out traceability checks as required, support internal auditing, ensure out of spec raw materials are removed from the production process, create awareness of quality issues through production and investigate all raw material non-conformances.
To be considered for the Quality Technologist job, you will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science or technology discipline and possess solid food industry technical or QA experience. You will be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be trained to HACCP Level 2. You will also be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of safety and quality procedures and issues.
The Quality Technologist job is based in the South West region and is paying £27,000 - £30,000 + 10% bonus and matched contributory pension. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
