Buyer (Packaging)

Our client are a large and successful food manufacturer based in Bedfordshire.  A fantastic vacancy has arisen for a Packaging Buyer to join the team.

The Role:

• Manage procurement of selected packaging categories
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to improve efficiency and value
• Work with key stakeholders to develop successful sourcing strategies
• Conduct end to end sourcing
• Work closely with the packaging technologists  

The Candidate:

• Buyer with packaging experience (ideally within the food industry)  
• Strong negotiator
• Creative and motivated individual
• Good Excel skills
• Team player with excellent communication skills

What’s on offer?

• Monday – Friday
• Occasional travel to other sites and suppliers
