You will be working for an independent and innovative business which is highly focused on meeting and exceeding customer needs. Products are shipped all over the globe supplying wholesalers, distributors, retailers and hotels with a wide selection of frozen and ambient goods.
The business is looking for a new Purchasing Administrator to join their growing team. You will be responsible for the organisation and gathering of supplier, product, shipping and other required information.
You will gather information from new and existing supplier, update and maintain the company database, present information to the sales team, create and issue purchase orders, maintain knowledge of customer and company regulations, actively seek improvements and implement them, process export documentation, arrange couriers for product dispatch plus provide administration support to the sales team.
To be considered for the Purchasing Administrator role, you will ideally be educated to a degree level or equivalent and possess experience of working in a food manufacturing / distribution environment. Strong Excel skills high attention to detail is essential and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision is highly preferred. This role would suit an existing Purchasing/Export Assistant looking to progress their career.
The Purchasing Administrator job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £18,000 - £22,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
