Maintenance Engineer

My client who is a global food manufacturer are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Production Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering department.

The role will allow you to work closely with the engineering and production manager to ensure high standards are maintained of all machinery. Your role will be focused on making sure that production runs smoothly including reactive and preventative maintenance task. In addition to performing general site maintenance to adhere to the company's hygiene and health and safety policies.

My client is looking for a truly multi-skilled engineer with good knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems including ovens, conveyors and packaging machinery with ideally some exposure to PLC controls.

A background as a maintenance or multi-skilled engineer would be ideal but experience within a food manufacturing or packaging setting is a must.
